Shave the treatment area within 24 hours of your appointment. The hair needs to be at skin level, not visible above it, for the laser to work safely and effectively. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for two weeks beforehand, and skip waxing, threading, or plucking for at least four weeks prior, since the hair root needs to be present.

We don't perform laser hair removal on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. While there's no strong evidence of harm, hormonal changes during pregnancy can affect hair growth cycles and skin sensitivity, making results less predictable, and most providers take a precautionary approach.
